I'm Tyler Webb: AP English teacher, writer, SAT & ACT tutor.
With 5 years of experience teaching in the high school classroom, and two years of experience as a professional tutor, I provide ACT and ACT tutoring, AP Lit and Lang test prep, and English tutoring. I'm a professional with a large toolbox of reading and writing strategies to boost your comprehension, sentence structure, and the overall flow and organization of your writing.

My Story
A reader and writer from a young age, I always did well in English class. That prompted me to study English and communication in college.
After graduation, I dove right into teaching because it combines three of my major passions: literature, writing, and people. Throughout my 5 years in the classroom, I learned a lot: writing strategies, annotation, how to connect with students on a personal level, how to listen, the importance of choice, the importance of writing real-life genres, and much more.
However, after 5 years in the classroom, my work-life balance tilted unfavorably toward work. So I decided to step away and pursue writing. I began blogging and started a professional writing career in April 2022 with GetVoIP, covering voice over IP technology. From 2024 to 2025, I wrote for Forbes Advisor, covering SMB software categories such as VoIP, point of sale (POS), and credit card processing.
